Jon Avnet
Co-Chief Executive Officer
Avnet has directed, written and produced nearly 60 motion pictures, television movies and Broadway plays over the last 30 years, from box office hits like "Risky Business," "Fried Green Tomatoes," and "Black Swan" to the critically acclaimed "Uprising," "Justified," and "The Starter Wife" and the Tony Award-winning "The History Boys" and "Spamalot." His work has won or been nominated for Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, and the Directors Guild of America Awards, as well as the WGA Awards, Cannes Film Festival, Peabody, Humanitas, Tonys, Drama Desk Awards, Television Critics Awards and Cable ACE Awards.
Rodrigo Garcia
Co-Chief Executive Officer
Garcia has directed a variety of independent films, including the award-winning "Nine Lives," the three-time Academy Award-nominated feature "Albert Nobbs," and "Mother and Child." Garcia served as executive producer and showrunner for the first season of the television cable series "In Treatment" and received a Writers Guild of America Award in the new series category for his work. Other TV credits include "Sopranos," "Six Feet Under," "Carnivale," and "Big Love," for which he directed the pilot episode and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Director for a Drama Series.
Jake Avnet
Chief Operating Officer
Jake has been an early adopter in the digital content space, producing viral web content, music videos and series that have generated tens of millions of impressions for companies such as Warner Brothers, FOX, and the Sundance Film Festival. At his previous role at WIGS, he oversaw marketing, content development, and helped pioneer their multi-platform distribution strategy. He has also produced television pilots for TNT, Warner Horizon Television, FOX and the 20th Century Fox Television. He was recently named one of Hollywood's New Leaders by Variety.
Jon Miller
Non-Executive Chairman
Miller is a Partner at Advancit Capital and previously served as Chief Digital Officer, Chairman and CEP of the Digital Media Group for News Corporation and acted as New Corp's principal executive for Hulu. Miller has also served as Chairman and CEO of AOL and as a nonprofit Director/Trustee for the American Film Institute and Paley Center for Media. He received the Inaugural Vanguard Award in 2006, was recognized in 2009 as Digital Power Player of the year and honored in 2010 with the Interactive Pioneer Award.
